6. Products and Descriptions

6.1 Product Information

We make every effort to display product descriptions, dimensions, materials, and images as accurately as possible. However, slight variations in colour, texture, or finish may occur due to screen settings or the handcrafted nature of some products.

6.2 Custom and Made-to-Order Products

Many of our products are custom-made to your specifications. For custom orders:

  • You are responsible for providing accurate dimensions, quantities, and design requirements
  • We will confirm specifications before production begins
  • Once production has started, custom orders cannot be cancelled or returned (see Section 12)

6.3 Availability

All products are subject to availability. If an item becomes unavailable after your order is placed, we will notify you promptly and offer an alternative, a revised timeline, or a full refund.

7. Order Process

7.1 Placing an Order

Orders can be placed through:

  • The website shopping cart and checkout
  • Direct email inquiry for custom or bulk orders (info@itemsbox.lt)

By submitting an order, you are making a binding offer to purchase the specified products at the stated price.

7.2 Order Confirmation

After placing an order, you will receive an email acknowledgement. This acknowledgement is not an acceptance of your order — it is a confirmation that we have received it. A contract is formed only when we send a separate order confirmation or dispatch notification, or when we begin production of a custom order.

7.3 Order Cancellation by Us

We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order for reasons including:

  • The product is out of stock or unavailable
  • A pricing error has occurred (see Section 8.3)
  • Payment has not been successfully received
  • The order contains suspicious or fraudulent activity

If we cancel your order, we will notify you and provide a full refund of any payment made.

7.4 Modifying an Order

If you wish to modify an order after it has been placed, please contact us as soon as possible at info@itemsbox.lt. Modifications may not be possible once production has begun, particularly for custom orders.

8. Pricing and Payment

8.1 Prices

All prices on the website are displayed in Euros (€) and include VAT where applicable, unless otherwise stated. Prices do not include shipping costs, which are calculated and displayed at checkout.

8.2 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change product prices at any time. Price changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.

8.3 Pricing Errors

If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or technical fault, we are not obligated to fulfil the order at that price. We will notify you of the error and give you the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel the order for a full refund. We will never charge you more than the price shown at checkout without your explicit agreement.

8.4 Payment Methods

We accept payment via methods available at checkout, which may include:

  • Bank transfer
  • Online payment (Paysera, credit/debit card, or other integrated payment gateways)

Payment is due at the time of order, unless otherwise agreed in writing (e.g., for large custom orders where a deposit arrangement may apply).

8.5 Failed Payments

If your payment fails or is declined, your order will not be processed. You will be notified and given the opportunity to retry with a valid payment method.

8.6 Invoices

Invoices are issued in accordance with Lithuanian tax law. If you require a VAT invoice for business purposes, please provide your company name and VAT number during checkout or by contacting us at info@itemsbox.lt. See also our invoice issuance policy at itemsbox.lt/saskaitu-fakturu-israsymas.

9. Delivery

9.1 Delivery Areas

We deliver within Lithuania and internationally. Delivery options, timeframes, and costs are shown during checkout.

9.2 Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout and in your order confirmation. These are estimates only and not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to courier issues, high demand periods, or custom production timelines.

9.3 Risk and Title

Risk of loss or damage to products passes to you upon delivery. Ownership of the products transfers to you once full payment has been received.

9.4 Failed Delivery

If a delivery attempt fails due to an incorrect address or unavailability, the courier may leave a notification or return the parcel. Additional re-delivery charges may apply. We are not responsible for delays or non-delivery resulting from inaccurate address information provided by you.

  • The materials do not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party
  • You grant us a limited licence to use the materials solely to fulfil your order

We will not use your design files for any purpose other than producing your order, and will not share them with third parties except as required to fulfil the order (e.g., printing partners).

11.1 Right of Withdrawal (Cooling-Off Period)

Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU, you have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 calendar days of receiving your order without giving any reason, provided the products are:

  • Standard (non-custom) catalogue items
  • Returned in their original, unused, and undamaged condition

Custom-made or personalised products are exempt from the right of withdrawal under Article 16(c) of the Directive, as they are made to your specifications.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, notify us in writing at info@itemsbox.lt within the 14-day period. You will bear the cost of returning the goods. Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.

11.2 Legal Guarantee of Conformity

Products must conform to the contract. If a product is defective or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with Lithuanian Consumer Protection Law and EU Directive 2019/771.

12. Returns and Refunds

12.1 Standard Products

If you wish to return a standard product, please contact us within 14 days of delivery. Products must be returned unused, in original packaging. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the return.

12.2 Custom Orders

Custom-made products — including boxes produced to custom dimensions, with custom print, inserts, or design — cannot be returned or refunded unless they are defective or do not match the agreed specifications. Please review all specifications carefully before confirming a custom order.

12.3 Damaged or Defective Goods

If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at info@itemsbox.lt with a description and photographs of the issue. We will arrange a replacement, repair, or refund at no additional cost to you.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Lithuanian or EU consumer law.

14. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, war, civil unrest, strikes, pandemics, government actions, power failures, or failures of third-party service providers. In such circumstances, we will notify you as soon as practicable and work to resume normal operations.
